Up-Coming Film - Directed by Robert Ham A short film Inspired by Real Events about an Afghan interpreter working for the U.S. military who is hunted by the Taliban while seeking asylum.
I just wanted to share this with everybody,.. I was listening in on “Tipping Point“ with @boonecutler and he had Special Guest Robert Ham the Director of the new up-coming documentary "The Interpreter". This film raises the awareness that, Tens of Thousands Interpreters were left behind in Iraq and Afghanistan,.. In fact 6,000 of them are back logged in Afghanistan right now.
I’d encourage everyone to listen in as @boonecutler and Robert talk about the film. I personally was blown away,.. I had no knowledge of this. Bottom line,.. A lot of these Interpreters saved our warfighters lives… Might have even saved my Son’s life! Now they are left behind, left behind to be hunted down and killed by the enemy.
